            - the contract is 1 year. Customer needs to pay penalty RM350 if terminates
              within 1 year. After 1 year, the customer may continue or terminate.
            - NOT including free unlimited calls. However, you may request for it by paying
              additional RM10, RM60 + RM10 = RM70. Monthly will be RM70 or RM100.
            - If you wish to add RM10 for unlimited calls, you MUST inform us or
              put it in the additional remark. 
NOTE: Please read and understand the following terms and conditions:

   - For customers with existing fixed line, if the streamyx applicant is the owner of the
     phone line, the application will be processed immediately.
   - If the applicant is not the phone owner, please email to cstreamyx@ ymail.com
     applicant's IC copy to prove the identity.

   - Once you apply Streamyx Blockbuster packages, you no longer need
     to pay the RM25 fixed line rental anymore, all you pay monthly is 1 Price, eg. RM60.

   - 
For new phone line application, you are required to email a copy of your IC to
    
 cstreamyx@ ymail.com  You will need to pay in the first bill the standard
     charges of RM75 for deposit and RM10 for stamp duty. If you are applying for
     basic packages (not any of the blockbuster packages) you will need to pay
     additional RM50 for phone line activation.

   - 
NOTE: the deposit for phone line application for non-Malaysian is RM1,075. 

   - RM30 cash to be paid to the TM contractor for installing the phone. If additional
     wiring is needed, the charges will be RM50 or more.

ABOUT UNIFI







UniFi is a broadband service that uses fibre optics to deliver high speed internet, phone and IPTV services to customers' homes. The type of technology used to deliver UniFi service to customers' homes would depend on the type of customer premise. If the customer's premise is a landed property, Fibre to the Home (FTTH) will be used whereas if the customer's premise is a high rise building, Very high speed Digital Subscriber Line 2 (VDSL 2) will be used.

The Residential package is a triple play UniFi service which is called VIP because it comes with three services which are: 
  • V Video or Internet Protocol Television
  • I High Speed Internet
  • P Phone

Terms & Conditions

  1. Streamyx package is applicable for personal application only.
  2. Minimum subscription period is 12 months for all packages except with modem rental and other promotion packages.
  3. Service is subject to availability and technical testing.
  4. Speed of service is on best effort basis.
  5. Customer is NOT ALLOWED to change the telephone number (connecting to Streamyx) before installation of service.
  6. Customer is responsible for internal wiring, NIC card and networking.
  7. Self-installation customer is required to prepare own modem before the 7-day auto account activation.
  8. For Streamyx in-a-box & without modem package:
    1. Auto account activation is 7-days from the date of registration for self-collection and 10-days for courier.
    2. RM88 installation fee is applicable only if installation assistance is required.
    3. For account activation, SMS to STXACTV Login ID and send to 33535 three (3) days after registration. Each reply message from TM will be charged RM0.30 to customer’s mobile phone postpaid account or deducted from their prepaid balance. Telco SMS charges for each message sent is charged separately.
    4. The mobile number used must match the mobile number written in the registration form. Customer may use another mobile number if a personal one is not available.
    5. Streamyx in-a-box courier service charges are RM14 for Peninsular Malaysia and RM25 for Sabah/Sarawak.
  9. For Streamyx 2.0Mbps and 4.0Mbps packages:
    1. Service is available in selected areas only. Click here for service area.
    2. Service is subject to availability and technical testing during installation.
    3. For existing customers who want to upgrade to these packages, new modem will be provided. Service interruption will accur for a maximum period of 2 working days.
    4. For existing customers who want to upgrade to these packages and fail to get the service upon service verification during installation, their application will be reverted to existing package.
  10. 1st bill received will include the following fees:
    1. RM75 for activation.
    2. RM88 for installation (if applicable).
    3. First and 2nd month advanced subscription fee.
    4. RM10 for stamp duty fee (effective 1st May 07).
  11. For account activated on every 29th, 30th or 31st, the current charges for the month will be pro-rated.
  12. If customer terminates Streamyx before the end of the minimum subscription period, the customer must pay subscription fees of the remaining months and return the modem. Pre-mature termination includes relocation of premise.
  13. Streamyx bill must be paid before the due date to avoid any service suspension. During suspension period, TM will continue to charge for the monthly subscription fee. RM10 reconnection fee will be charged upon service reactivation.
  14. Any Streamyx termination (based on service number) is subject to 30 days quarantine period from termination date. Quarantine period is defined as a period where the service number is blocked from re-registration in provisioning system.
  15. Streamyx download and upload speed is guaranteed for local content access only. TM is not responsible for the low speed of either download or upload of international content access.
